Does anyone know the differences between all the 19lb injectors southbay have listed for the 305tpi ?
Specifically the Delphi replacements which seem to be their most expensive and the Bosch 3 which are fairly cheaper ?
Tried emailing them but never heard back.

The main differences are the Delphi's are brand new while the Bosch 3's are refurbished and flow matched by Southbay. Also the body of the injectors are slightly different (The Delphi's are the same size as OE while the Bosch are shorter IIRC which is why Southbay modifies them to fit). Give them a call, they have pretty good customer service and they can explain the details.

I purchased Bosch 3s from Southbay several years back and the car runs great and I have had no issues, but I also have a tune from Tuned Performance (he asks what injectors you run etc. to try to get everything to work together). If you do a search many members say you should do a custom tune to compensate for the different offsets in the Bosch 3's from the factory injectors but some don't and have no issues so take that for what its worth. Some ppl also say the Bosch 3s are noisy but I haven't really noticed or cant remember what the old ones sounded like. One other thing is if you ever want to run a aftermarket intake the Bosch 3's have fitment issues unless you shim the fuel rail with a washer or 2.

IMO the Delphi are the best bet seeing as how they are true plug and play and if I did it again would likely go that route if $$$ allows. The Bosch 3s are good as well and are very well priced but may need a tune. Also be sure to ask about the TGO discount for members if you buy from them.

The voltage offsets are different between the two. Not a big deal if you're tuning for the difference. The Delphis are a better choice if you want a stock replacement solution.

Great info again man thank you. Calling them is a bit difficult for me cause I'm in Australia and I'd need to call at like 2 or 3 in the morning here hence the preference for email but might have to if it comes to it.

Cheers Komet. I still haven't had time to get in and check out my plugs due to work hours but I'm just going to go ahead and get new injectors, I figure they 30 plus years old so if they aren't cooked they can't be far off it. I'd still like to know what the issue is with my fuel usage so I'll check the operation of the old ones when it comes time to install the new ones. If that combined with an 89 enrichment reprogram and delete of the cold start injector doesn't fix my problem I'll be very lost 😄😄

Hey sorry....family with covid....been off line for a while.
We do carry 3 different style injectors. The metal bodies are bosch...4 spray pattern....fine injector only an older style. The bosch lll's are a newer design over the metal bodies have better atomization. .....both styles remans that's why they are less expensive. The issue with the fitment with the bosch lll's is due to the adapter that we designed that fits onto the bottom of the injector which is used to eliminate the height difference between the stock injectors and the bosch lll. At the time when we designed the adapter and the oring it was specifically for stock intake and fuel rail. That's why we stress on every listing to either call us or send a message letting us know if you have an aftermarket intake because we would send the injectors without the adapters otherwise they will fit too high into the rail.
The delphi's are more expensive because they are new. They are great injectors as well. Just another option.
