LT1 Update
Here's my version. I CNC'd the bolt lands (where the intake bolts torque to) and the distributor boss also. I went with AN10 fittings and a few other details... Very time consuming, but close to factory as far as tolerances go. Thoughts?

awesome. Is that for the LT1 or the 406?
This one will go on my 406ci in the Caprice.
do you think the large dist cap will clear with your modifications

Actually, thats a small cap distributor. Here's a pic with a big cap. And no it won't fit without reworking the fuel rails and lines. Its pretty messy.
