new tranny with BIG shift kit, worried about shifting
just got a prepped 700r4, with a stage 10 transgo kit on it. the first night i got it, it was shifting hard as HELL. i guess my computer got used to it or the detent self adjusted, but now it shifts very weakly. i took it to the guy who did the tranny swap, an dhe said my detent was non-adjustable. looking at it, i cant see a place to adjust it like on my old tranny, so i think he is right. at full throttle, jsut starting with the selector on OD, it pulls up to 3 grand, goes to second, stays right around 3, goes to third, stays right around 3. i screwed up my old tranny from manually shifting it, but thats the only way i can get some pwoer from it. what do yall think? and if i manually shift, shoudl i take my foot off the gas while shifting?

I don't know what a stage 10 kit is. They don't make one. I also don't know what you have. I see a list of cars but what are you working on? The later Camaro's had a different release machanism than the old "D" button. If you look at it you will see two verticle metal lines inside the black, square plastic housing behind the bracket mounting the cable. If you push in on the plstic center you can then move the cable.
