Car: too many ...
I used the same kit for my car. Also needed a crossmember, a dipstick tube, a kickdown cable, and a drill to modify the Hurst Bracket to accept my torque arm bushing bracket. Apparently Hurst did not know there were 3 different types of torque arm brackets used on our cars throughout the years, so it only fits one style. I was able to re-use the stock 700R4 driveshaft since I had a longtail TH350, and the cooling lines need to be bent to fit, make sure not to kink them. Cheapest crossmember is one from a early model F-Body with the 200R4 tranny at the yard, but I couldnt find one in time, so I bought a Spohn one. I got the dipstick and kickdown through Lokar, though there are probably cheaper ones out there.

I might have gotten lucky when I purchased my Hurst unit off E-bay. When I got the parts it had a bracket that bolted to the original tranny mount location and offset the crossmember mounting point so I was able to retain the factory 700r4 crossmember that I had in the car. I also used the 9" tailshaft so it all bolted back together with minor tweaking to the original tranny cooler lines.

Other than that crazyhawaiin parts list for the other stuff is right on. It's really a quick swap, it was actually the easiest and quickest tranny swap I've ever dont in my life(2hrs and I was on the road). A little advise I give to others doing this swap, I cut the outter ears off that the dust cover would bolt to if your were going to use it, this offered alot more clearance in the tunnel.

thanks alot guys, I really appreciate it. I really want to get this done. If you could see how rigged this thing is, you'd freak. The cross member is ran diagonally, exhaust clamps are holding the tourqe arm to the trans, and there's washers spacing the tranny mount. I bought the car like that and didn't notice until the speedo cable fell out and caused a fliud leak. I might take some pics and post them. Thanks again.

*** got it in and all assembled tonight, it works alot better. thanks for all the help guys.
