4l60E problems
This is a 94 lt1 motor with a 4l60E. It will not upshift at WOT. What could be the cause?

or does someone have a link that explains how the PCM commands WOT shifts?

Car: '01 GMC Sierra
Engine: 5.3L
Transmission: 4L60e
Axle/Gears: 3.73 eaton locker
will it up shift any gears at WOT? Or just not the 3-4 shift?

any gear. I can lift slightly and it'll shift.....

Does the motor feel like it is still making power or has it stopped climbing rpm. How old is the fuel filter.

As a start, check your TPS. The fact your trans will shift if you "lift slightly", could point to bad TPS signal.
