Engine: 305 V8 flo-pro exhaust
Transmission: automatic 700r4 4speed
Axle/Gears: stock 2.73's :(

did the 91 v6 3.1 birds have the 700r4?

i was wondering if the 91 v6 3.1 firebirds had the 700r4 trany im pretty sure they did .. because i plan on putting in a 350 in it and the mechanic was tellin me wat i though was BS that the v6 tranny wouldnt hold the power of the 350 so anyone know if it will??

so a 350 cant be put in ? i was pretty sure they all had the 700r4's anyone sure if they have them or a different tranny?

yes you have a 700r4, yes you can put a SBC in your car, a SBC won't bolt up to your trans

ok so ill need a 700r4 from a v8 then huh if so ill just goto the junkyard n grab one.. is there ne thing else thats needed ??

the bolt pattern on the v6 cars and the v8 cars are different exc the 4.3 so your tranny will not line up with the 350 you will have to get a transmission from either a v8 or a 4.3 v6

check the engine swap board there should be lots of material there to tell you all you need to know
