i have a 700r4 and just had it rebuilt and went through a whole ordeal and now its all good except that it shifts 1-2 at 4300 and 2-3 at 5300 which is good , but it shifts awful fast too , like 1-2 at 15 -20 , an its in 4th by like 40-45 and my speedo is off some cause of the 410 gears , like maybe 5-8 at 55 . So they had the tv cable adjusted and its shifts too fast and it wouldnt down shift at 55 mph from 4-3rd. how do you adjust the tv cable and can they fix the 1-2 shift , they used a superior shift kit ? I want to try and adjust the tv by putting it all the way in and then getting in the car and flooring it ? I need help or an idea of what to tell these guys what to do .

Hell yeah it's going to shift early with 4:10's. Look at the rpm when it shifts from 1-2 and 3-4 and remember when it shifted when you had the 2:73's.
Trying to downshift to 3rd at 55 mph isn't going to leave you much useable rpm before redline at 5300 anyway. Sounds like you really wanted 3:23's or 3:42's.

Do you have a part number for a good kit that lets you do that?
