Car: 1986 Camaro Iroc-Z
Engine: 350
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23
park

when i put the car in park and its on an incline it starts clicking and rolling, is this a transmission problem or whats the deal?

It can really only be one of two things. Either your shifter cable is slightly out of adjustment, causing it not to fully engage in park, or the parking pawl inside the trans is worn down. The clicking noise you're hearing is the parking pawl clicking against the stops since it's not engaged far enough.

Axle/Gears: Moser 9", 3:70 trutac, 3:23 torsion
check for loose linkage, it seems to be a common problem

Never hear of using the parking brake when parked on a incline. No wonder you have a problem.

Ok, Parking on incline put a strain on tranny.

Axle/Gears: '01 3.42 10 bolt
i would go with the loose/misadjusted linkage. lots of people rarely use the parking brake and don't have this problem. what is harder on a park gear is putting it into park while the car is still moving.

People that rarely use there parking brake are the ones with rusted and in-operable cables. Using it on incline is still good advice instead of "don't use it".
