Looking at a tranny
Looking at a 700R4, rebuilt, and ive got a list of what went into it, wondering what you guys though of it heres some of whats in it...
700R4 overhaul kit(also something about Viton seals?)
700R4 D-ring servo kit
2 5/8" wide 82-up hi performance band
.472" boost sleeve
700R4 shift kit
Pinless accumulator piston
28 element input sprag
700R4/4L60E Low sprag wide
2 new 700R4 accumulator pistons
New 700R4 governor gear
Busking kit
Fitzall lockup solonoid
high perf 3-4 friction set
5 low/rev frictions
5 FWD frictions
4 Reverse input frictions
2 Over run frictions
5 Low/rev steels
6 3-4 0.059 steels
5 FWD steels
1 Super Sun sunshell
5 pin planetary
13 vane pump( called it a 13 vane snowflake)
700R4 no yoyo ring kit
From what he says this transmission should handle 400-425 HP easily what do you guys think, he also mentioned something about a billet input shaft? he wants 900$(canadian funds) or 700$ without convertor and flexplate(stock stall and flex) i was maybe going to offer him 600$ without convertor and flex WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK??? anything else i should ask about it?
----------
BTW i know the guy fairly well, used to work at the same place as me, and he builds alot of highperformance offroad propane engines
