Moser 9 inch Torque arm bracket

Anybody with a Moser 9 in have any problems with the torque arm bracket holes not lining up? It bolted up to the rear no problem, but the holes for the torque arm aren't lining up. Its a spohn torque arm and it bolted in perfect on my old 10 bolt. I can get the rear bolt through, but then the front bolt is off. With the LCAs off I can get the front one in, but then the whole rear is angled with the car. I can probably put the LCAs (adjustable spohn pieces) in and use them to square things up, but I don't want to put any twisting where there shouldn't be.

Anyway, can anyone share there experiences?

Thanks.

Re: Moser 9 inch Torque arm bracket

Sounds like somthing is off. I just put a moser 9 inch in with my spohn torque arm. I had a hell of a time getting the two bolts to line up, but playing with the pinion angle adjustment on the torque arm and jacking the rear end up from different angles (jacked under the drivers side, passenger, and middle of the rear at differents times)I was able to get it. OH, and it took about an hour or two with help.

Re: Moser 9 inch Torque arm bracket

Thanks for the response man. Yea, I can get the other bolt in, but things look a little out of alignment. The adjustable LCAs, torque arm, and panhard will help, but I just don't want to but any weird stresses in places there not supposed to be. It was definitely more of a struggle than with my 10 bolt.
It also doesn't help that I have brand new springs too. The damn torque arm wants to fly through the floor.
Thanks again.

Re: Moser 9 inch Torque arm bracket

assemble the rear with the springs out and they should be the last thing bolted on....

With the springs out, it might be easier to line stuff up.

Wouldn't the shocks be the last thing bolted on though? So I might have better luck with the springs and shocks off, then assemble everything, then put the spings in followed by the shocks? Is that what you did?

Re: Moser 9 inch Torque arm bracket

Just wondering if you guys can help me. I installed a moser 9 this weekend had problems with stock torque arm fitting but after making the torque arm holes a little bigger it fit but now my car shakes at 40mph more when i let go off the gas but at 50 its both are bad. What can it be please help... I also had problems with the stock panhard the bushings were to big but when i hammered them in one rubber bushing broke. Idk if that can make it happen.

Its a moser 9"
35 spline axles
4.11s
