700R4 Governor questions
I changed my car from 2.73 to 3.42 gears. I changed the speedo gears. I saw that it has a green gear on the governor. What color should I get to correct the shifting. Right now it kicks into overdrive at 30mph. Would like to get it back to 40. Also, my car has 115k miles on it and when I changed the trans filter and fluid everything looked ok. No clutch material in the pan and just some minor metal. Would it be ok to go ahead and have someone put the Corvette servo and boost valve in trans or should I just wait for this trans to die.

I am satisfied with the WOT shifts. What springs would you recommend for the Part Throttle Shifts.

You'll need to experiment a little but go with weaker springs, a helpful trans shop might be better than a chain shop to buy springs. Or go to a junkyard and pocket a few, th350 transmissions have the same springs.
