700R4 swap to a manual

I have a 1985 berlinettta with the LG4 and 700R4. Im looking to rebuild the engine and put a manual trans in with it. What trans would work good and be a easy cheap swap?

I am doing the same thing for my 89 Cam. Just found a t5 for 100 bucks came with flywheel, going to have it looked at and rebuild as needed. Collecting parts for now and looking for a shop in san diego area who would do it.

I am not doing it myself. Looking for the shop whos willing to. One said 1500 other 1200 bucks, too much.
