Hydraulic clutch conversion question.

Hydraulic clutch conversion question.
First post here, been cruising for awhile and seems like a good group here and figured I'd give my problem a shot on your friendly site. Enough wind up the skirt?
I'm putting a 3.4 with 5 speed into a Datsun Roadster and have a small trans tunnel to deal with. The stock bellhousing with accompanying slave mount is too wide. Is it possible to convert it over to the 97 and up style internal slave/TO type? This would allow me to take off the mounting ears and move the engine/trans back significantly. I'm not opposed to swapping input shafts if that's what is required. Any advice is much appreciated.

Re: Hydraulic clutch conversion question.
Why not use a hydraulic throw-out bearing ? That eliminates the need for the slave and pivot arm altogether.

Re: Hydraulic clutch conversion question.
Sorry for all the questions, but if I can use this set-up, it will solve lots of problems for me.
Thanks again.

Re: Hydraulic clutch conversion question.
Find the right TO bearing. Check howe racing, I think they have one for the T-5. It uses a bolt (pin) to keep it from spinning. just replaces a tranny-bellhousing bolt I believe.
Then yea, you just remove your slave and plumb the piping into the hydraulic TO bearing. Easy as pie.
