going 200c to th350 need help!!

Well as title said im going from a 200c to a th350 cause i hear its an easier set up. If anyone can post what will need to be altered/replaced when switching it would be very helpful. Ive heard if i went to a 700r4 i would need to buy alot.

If you can just point out what to need to be replaced on a 82 firebird with a 200c tranmission going to a th350 it would be very well appreciated.

I was thinking about something along the line of this http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/pts/1386911280.html

ps. I searched alot of threads and didnt see a straight answer.

Re: going 200c to th350 need help!!

I think you'll find that the tail housing is to long. You need a short tail t350 .You'll need a modulator and a kick down cable and bracket. You may want to find a 350 c with lock up converter, coolant lines should work shifter may need some minor work not sure about the drive shaft . Hope this helps.
