borg warner 9 bolt in the junk yard.
I don't have the cash or a truck to haul it so I'm posting this as a heads up. Out at a
ACE pick a part on us-17 here in jax there's a red Camaro with a 9 bolt in about the middle of the gm section. Its missing a rotor but its all there other wise. Hate to see it go to the crusher.

By today's standards, it's not much of a deal unless it was almost free. If it has a posi, it's probably worn out. Little to no aftermarket performance upgrades etc. If it has the 2.77 gears then it's really not a deal.
Now if you somehow managed to find a Dana 44 under a third gen then that would be a good deal.

I found a 91 Z28 at the local scrap yard. It was a complete car, 305 but when
I looked it over, I noticed baer brakes on the rear, which was a dana 44 with 373's. I purchased the whole car, cheap to find out it needed a fuel pump and injectors. It was last on the road in 05. Replaced fuel pump and injectors, car fires up and runs fine. Located previous owner from paperwork left in car. Will title it for the highway soon.
