Leaking fluid under hard braking.

Hello guys, random issue I'm having that has me confused. My car sat under a cover for 3-4 months for winter I started her a few times during that time. But since I started driving it again it leaks transmission fluid from the dipstick filler hole only under hard braking.

Basically hard braking transmission fluid comes out dipstick filler tube and hit the headers y pipe and smokes. Only occurs under hard braking. Tried some spirited runs to test for that but no smoke. So it seems to be when the car tilts forward. And it is not overfilled. It did it also when it was on the low side.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Leaking fluid under hard braking.

It may be hard to check but the trans has a lil vent tube at the top, maybe its plugged??
How "hard" are you braking???
Wait I just reread this, is from the gasket where the filler tube goes into the trans? if so you need a new rubber grommet/gasket

It's at the top of the filler tube not the bottom. And does that Vent tube really matter that much? Considering its never done this before? Wonder if I drop the tail of the tranny I can reach it? I've seen the tube your talking about when I swapped engine and trans.

And by hard breaking just like I the light turns yellow at the point you can't go thru. Did it twice to me on a 7 mile trip.

Dang, I brake waay harder than that but have never had that problem. How is the seal on the handle of the dipstick? I know some chevy trucks have a locking top on the tube but something doesnt sound right..

Seal it's the greatest and the dipstick never really seats all the way down. Kinda pops out on its own. It's just never did it before.

Do you know If it's possible to change the vent tube while in the car?

Well if the dipstick pops out you need to find out why. Thats why its leaking, you need the seal there.
On the vent tube I have noooo idea. I think it may be put in from the inside?? I don't know tho.
