Car: 1991 camaro z28
Engine: 5.7
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.23
Torque converter
So i found a torque converter i want https://www.summitracing.com/parts/f...lt30/overview/ but is there anything i need to supporting mod i need with it just wanting to make sure before i get it.
Also i got my intake leak fix and i have a rear main seal leak should i get that out when i get the converter put in?

So I don't know anything about that TC, but when I did mine, a lot of guys said this was one area where you get what you pay for. A lot of the higher end manufacturers will also rebuild your unit to different specs down the road if the need arises. Warranties, etc. etc, look into all of that. ...if you're still looking at that 500 hp mark, you're gonna work that thing pretty good! Don't go cheap here. PITA to replace!

Yeah i am and i was just curious if i needed anything else to support it because i heard that if you dont have a head and cam set up dont bother getting one yet, and if i should go ahead and get that rear main seal fixed while they have the trans out.
