How much torque can the 93+ stock 6 spds handle?
Im trying to figure out what would be the most powerful crate motor i could swap without having to replace the transmission,
My current guess is that they should be able to hold 400 > 450 ft/lbs, and up to 500hp but thats just a guess.
Opinions needed........

I don't remember what the 93 units are rated for, but the 94-97 ones are rated for around 450ft-lbs (though I know plenty of people have put more through).

For 93 you had different T56 with different torque rattimg, the M28 has 360 ft/lbs it has a 3.36 first gear and came with the 2.73 axle, the M29 has 400 ft/lbs it has a 2.97 first gear and came with the 3.23 axle and finally the MM6 that has a 2.66 first gear and is rated at 440 ft/lbs.
I'm not sure if the MM6 was available in 93, but I know that it was the only one available from 94 +.
