Actually NOS does make a rather nice set up for our V-6.
Uses flex hose, adaptable for many engines.
Adds about 1/2" height under fuel injector.
May, may not work for our V-6.
I can't afford the "Let's Experiment $$" tag of $500.
I'd rather invest the $500 into a sure thing 3.4 w/low milage for $900, like I just did.
I have V-8 cars for HP wars.
I love 3.4's under the hood instead of 2.8's.
NOS etc, nice, but... $$$.
IT is a worthwhile item, tho.
NOS=Best power investment (a final choice for easy HP & a sure thing).
What else for $500 can you add 50-125 easy HP?
ONLY if your foundation IS STRONG, do it.
These wimpy 60*, do blow up easy

cos if its a FI v6 then i would just get a single stage Wet Kit and put the fogger just before teh TB (plastic pipe after the MAF) and also install a throttle switch, NOS activate switch and another master switch..just to be safe...
with the DRY kit i think ull also need a AFPR..

nah i dont feel cool saying that..........it's just the fact that ever since fast and the furious came out everyone thinks nos is how to supe up your engine.......lemme guess.....you were one of the "cool" people who went out and bought a NOS tank w/out even knowing wat it is......more complicated than sticking a tube in your engine......if your not racing for your career like professionally, then yes your a pu$$y....that damn movie has everyone sticking nos in every teenager's mommy's toyota camrys and thinking they know everything from watching that 2 hr waste of time.....(i will admit Dom's father's car gave me goosebumps).....here's the real way to have a fast car.....rebuild an engine the real way.....buy a crate engine or scour junkyards for that small block......don't attach an air tank to your honda and call yourself a car guy.......damn.....the founders of the hemi must be rolling over in their grave.....
......by the way.....i didn't know of that saying........thanks i got another..........

Actually it was the GERMANS who used NOS AND SUPERCHARGERS on their Prop planes.
Germans beat the crap outta US planes, they were quick & agile, as Germans were used to that atmosphere they were flying in (power & speed.
BUT,
American had Werner Van Bruen Father of the Jet engine.
TOWARDS THE END OF WW2, Van Bruen defected to USA.
We JUST started using the NOS & SUPERCHARGER ideas on our prop planes as JET were introduced to the WW2 war ampitheatre.
Then the Europe war ended.
Then Japan war ended.
NOS is away cool way to add quick HP.
IF ya foolish to think anyone that adds close to 100HP at a flick of a finger is a pu$$y,
that's really sad.
Then to continue arguing...
Shame you guys didn't grow up in the 60's.
Engines got bigger, cars got faster and the skirts kept getting shorter!
Great life for a 12 year old like me!
I still can't believe some people are saying they proud to be fixing up a japanese car and think it's cool.
Sad.
That's from one that owned a 1966 Corvette as his High School car (1972-1976).
G0D, argue about how you almost beat a 1970 Hemi Superbird, last night.
Something worth a battle scar.

What's the difference between racing professionally with nitrous, and racing non-professionally? I see none. Nitrous is nitrous, and someone that puts NO2 on an unprepared motor will learn life's lessons the hard way. Not everyone using nitrous has seen fast & furious- I haven't even seen the movie yet, and Nitrous has been out for much longer than that movie. (And if you haven't heard that saying yet, then how long have YOU been around?) But hey, if you see nitrous usage as "cheating", then I'd pay to see you call Tony Christian a cheater. Go for it!

Man, we've got people that talk about turbocharging and never do it, then you've got people that cry about nitrous usage.

Oh, it was the other way around then, eh?
I knew we used Nitrous because the german planes were faster, but I didn't know the germans had the nitrous first. Oops! Oh well, the point's still valid, haha.
I'm all for a larger engine; you guys know that. But to say nitrous users are pus's is a blanket, ignorant statement. Why not go on to say that guys with superchargers are pus's? Both are power adders. One costs $500, the other costs $2000. Both will beat a n/a car of the same displacement. So why is nitrous looked down on? Because it's cheaper?
Lets use that same thought on turbochargers! They're faster than superchargers, so people that use turbochargers would also be pus's, because that would mean that they're cheating.
But I do admit I haven't had my share of coffee today, and am probably a bit short fused!

lemme guess.....your just one of those people who have to always be rite.......listen......if you race professionally for NHRA or another racing organization......it's your job to pump as many horses out of your car in as many ways as possible.......however......a 16 year old w/ mommy and daddy's money putting a nos tank in the camry that they gave to them.......is a puss........as far as the war topic goes.......thats a totally different subject......if it helps us win a war i'm all for it.......back to CARS.....superchargers i'm not a fan of either......i know people who put them in their SUVs then challenge me to race.......woah....tuff guy challenging the stock 2.8......(lol).....i'm one of those people who would rather spend time and effort in the garage w/ a few tools manually squeezing as many horses as possible then buy a NOS system and beat the hell out of my 1.,9 ltr chic car......i'll just leave you w/ this thought......which would u rather cruize around in....
...a HEMI 'Couda or a Honda Civic buzzing w/ a tank of NOS........i'm strong w/ my point.......

No, but I'm against any benchracing BS that I hear. And I was never talking about putting nitrous in an import; I guess we're talking about different things. Imagine a Hemi with nitrous!

id say go for it...
a wet shot might be better than a dry shot as the AFPR doesnt have to come in..
also try the 50 shot at first and i dont think a 100 shot will be good on our engines..
bottom line is no matter what u run if u won, u won thats it
hey 614streets...how much hp are u pusihing in that s10???do u still own the s10?

Zex kits dont supply anything in the hp department. 75 jetting might yeild 35 hp. They are like for ricers. Yeah buy a wet kit you'll have a ball , I can tell you how to tune it just right also.

bottom line - crower is better when u rebuild
crane 2030 is better when u are just swapping a cam..(this is what i did)
but crower is a better deal for the $$$ ...but too much work unless the engine is already apart
DRKTEALV6BRD...yea right i ran a 500 SHOT

Man, nobody reads; NOS is a company that makes Nitrous Oxide systems for cars.
Your message should read "Nitrous on a V6?" Did you think that systems were only available for v8's?

LOL, Azure!
And RPS, I think I answered this in another message, but; No, never lived there. You said that's in MD, right? I've been in Jersey all my life. Sometimes they let me out of the state, but I've gotta sign a ton of paperwork!
