A90 option on a 1992

Anybody with a 1992 Camaro or FireBird that has the rear hatch release button. I need a picture real bad or a description of what the rear mechanism looks like.

On the 1992 f-bodies they changed the mechanism and is a real hard part to find. I have some leads but need a picture to conferm.

Thanks Guys
Ryan

I tryed the other boards first but no answers, my fellow v6ers are my last resort.

How about the GM dealers?
They have GREAT line art of parts.
TRY them.
My question is why would they change the design? Supplier change?
I just found one on a 3rd gen Camaro I'm stripping interior from. Berlinetta
I'm not taking it as all I hear is trouble from them.
I'm taking the wiring for that back light tho.
Could this help ya?
LOOKS REAL CLEAN.
NO IDEA on operation of unit.

I'm looking for a long cable to release the hatch back latch from inside. The closing part? Me. Any suggestions which car to find this on? I know Hondas have that cable set up.

KED85 I have no idea why the change just that it's different in the 1992's. I also found this out the hard way when I just brought the solenoid from an 89 it wont' fit on my 92 not no how.

KED85 I found out some more interesting stuff about the change. It was 1991. The VIN break was 173202.

That is a valid thought.
I can go visit the yard this weekend.
I THINK early 80's.
It had the air cleaner on the V-8.
I didn't fully notice year as I only "saw" the interior-PERFECT FOR ME!!!! MY COLOR, too
TAN!

Anyone need a set of really nice fabric dark colored seats, front & rear?
NO NOT YOURS, ERIC!!

I can pull off the unit & bring it home for passing info.
IF ya don't want it, it's ok.
I am keeping wiring for the on-off interior light on the side of the motor.
What do these things do, just close the hatch?
HEY I WANT ONE THAT LIFTS THE HATCH WHILE I SIT INSIDE car seat!

Anyone hook up the electric power seat trax for driver seat 3rd gen?

Good news guys, I got the whole pull down unit of a 1992 Camaro that only had 71k miles on it. The whole unit will cost $75 which includes the shipping. Is that a good price??

how many miles on those seats?? Yes KED85 all you do is add the switch and relay to the wireing by the shifter and then make a hole to mount it in the console. Then you've got it easy, you just add the solenoid in the back. KED85 there is a tech article about it. Go check it out.

FOR SOME REASON........
This Camaro has a TOTAL TAN INTERIOR
Including tan color seat belts which I so desired....
and these black fabric seats...
I'll take a pic for ya.
Price?
I AM NOT SURE.
BESIDES FREE!....
Email me & tell me what price you'd pay, minus shipping costs.
THEY DO LOOK REALLY NICE!
NO damage, sun fade/wear.
I'll shoot ya a pic.
Currently still in car, not out yet. I'm removing to get the carpet, headliner, belts, rest on side panels (with tan carpet covering them).
IF MY KID throws anything on this new interior.....

Email me please & I'll see what I can do for your answer.

Those seats I've found.
1987 Camaro
Separate Head rest not one piece
NEW re Upholstery
Black fabric
Front back & back seat bottoms
ON BACK SEAT flip down part, it's black vinyl, not cloth.
I sent ya pics of the other fabric seats I've got for sale, too. From a 1997 Z-28 Charchol (sp)

These seats in the 1987 Camaro I do not have pics of yet. This car is a 305 carb version I believe. Still concerned with the interior to care about an engine I don't need.

I got parts coming out the ears now!

Know of anyone interested in a 1970's Chrysler 440 motor, never apart, still strong?

Which ones ya want
The 1987 Camaro reupholstered or the other pics I can send ya the 1997 Z-28 seat set?
The 1987 ones are-
Headrest seats, not one piece high back like my 1985 Firebird seats.
They are re-upholstered Black fabric. NICE JOB, too!
AND the back fold down seat part, has black vinyl on it instead of black fabric.
I can take a pic of those in the 1987 Camaro on Monday.
Please email me for pics I have of the 1997 Z-28 ones now.
Hope this'll help ya.
Yeah, both sets in LA area.
