yep, if you're running low 15's mystery mods are definately not an option, now if you say ran 17.1 we'd just give ya the old pat on the back, so, please explain.

See sig... haven't run since adjusting the timing, and removing the smog equip.
Yeah, lets see a list of mods, as I'm calling until you do. Short of a 50 shot of the ol' juice, I don't see low 15s.

Doward, FYI your sig wasn't included there. And I definately thinkin' he was runnin on juice to make those kind of times!! Probably resulting in the blown gasket...?

no way 15.1...
all my mods and i went 15.9...im maybe a little faster
that that ..(more #lb injectors and some custom prom stuff)
15.1 => "Nitrous" or "Forced induction" or "ur smoking some ****"
Forced induction = impossible...i dont know anyone who has done it on a camaro.
Even nitrous will not shave off 2 seconds by just running a 75 shot
(running higher is definitely a sure way to kill teh engine)

This is now making more sense as the details are posted.... with the giggle juice and the 3.4 (which I'm not sure if it is a typo or not) I can now somewhat see the time of 16.1 more reasonably...

and is it just a 3.4 block on 2.8/3.1 intake or did you swap the entire engine?

When I had miine I ran 16.01 all the time.... Then I ran a 15.9 once I did the double roller timming chain.
Mods I had that i can recall:
Ported upper and lower plenum... Major grinding
MSD Coil
Accel Wires
Cold Air with Conical
B&M Shift Kit stage 3
Rebuilt tranny with corvette server
Cragar Rims
235 60 R15 good year tires
Accel 200 Plus ignition
4th gen seats
110MPH cluster
AC Delco Plugs changed each year
New Higher stall with the rebuilt tranny...

16.48 on my 3.1 auto....only mods worth anything were a Dynomax catback, Catco cat, and 'custom' (ghetto home depot) intake.
