A Couple Minor Problems Please help!!
I have a 92 camaro rs with flowmaster exhaust. Whenever i put my car in reverse my exhaust rattles like crazy and that is the only time that this happens. Also another problem that comes and goes is when i push on the accelerator there is a clunking noise under my feet and i can feel the vibration or something hitting like the underside below my feet....Any suggestions on what this might be??

check your trans mount..might be the problem..dose it happen when you put the car in gear do you hear a clunk? or when you take off?
on a side note you might want to get under your car and shake your muffler and see if the mount are broke

i'd be 99% sure that ur second problem is a transmission mount...your first problem is probably a broken exhaust hanger, as these cars are old...the old hangers will slowly deteriarate until they brake, give your exhaust some shakes and see what moves...also look under the car for the broken hanger.

It clunks when i start to go sometimes and it also clunks when i put it into gear....im assuming thats because its slipping like a b****. For the exhaust part ive already looked under the car and saw no broken hangers....yet when i shake the car my exhaust also rattles....confused here...maybe i over looked one.

do you have hangers on ur tailpipes? there was a time when i was missing them, and the stupid exhaust would make all types of noise. Also, is your heat shielding detaching from your catalytic convertor? Mine was coming off and made a horrible rattling noise (annoyed everyone including me) ... so i kinda pulled it off.....it's a possibility.
A broken transmission mount will give a clunk coming off the line if there's too much acceleration, might also make a noise when putting it into gear, however, i'd most likely relate your noise when shifting into gear to the old U-joints, as they get noisy w/ age.

Instead of buying a stock rubber replacement trans mount for $10, spend $20 and get a polyurethane trans mount that will last forever! It's made by Energy Suspension, part # is ENS-3-1108G (black) or ENS-3-1108R (red) ... the color doesn't really matter since nobody will see it, though. Summit Racing carries it, see http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=ENS-3-1108G for more info.
I went thru 3 stock mounts in 3 years, then I put the Energy Suspension one on in 1997- and it's been on there ever since, no problems.
