Engine: 5.7
Transmission: 700R4
my idle is super high
ok i my tps and maf died so i put 'new' ones that i got from cars that were at the wreckers. they tested good on my car a few months ago so i kept them incase mine died..
now when i start my car the rpm shoots up to 1600 for like 1/2 hour if its idleing and when the car is warm after driving its around 1000. i looked at the page where it says you gotta turn a torx on the throttle body to adjust the idle with iac unplugged and aldl jumpered off but i cant find my torx on the side of the tb.
anyone have pics? or can tell me how to set my idle?

Car: 85 firebird
Engine: Pos 2.8 pulled and replaced with a 350 tpi motor converted to carb.
Transmission: 700r4, vette servo,shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.
Right there, BTW my engine (when i had the 2.8) did the same thing untill i adjusted the iac with the adl jumpped iirc.

ok i found the screw, and i did everyhting in the directions... and it worked for like 15 minutes. i shut the car off and turned it back on and its idleing at 1700 now.
i mean the screw cant really go much lower.
what am i doing wrong?
A and B are the top row most left jumpers right?
my car is noisy and i want the idle to be correct.. and not 1700

ok i jumpered the right pins this time and i think it worked.... but i didnt get the car into closed loop mode because i couldnt find the wire that you unhook when you set base timing....
