Leaking injectors

Leaking injectors
Two of my injectors were leaking, replaced with new parts and it ran like ****tt....Some of the other injectors tips came off of the top so this is probably the reason why, and the parts store gave me two different ones??? ONe had the one spray cone, and the other with 6 needle holes?Going to bring them back and replace all injectors so i won't have to worry about this. Whats a good kit/ price for all of them and where can i get them (no auto stores)??? Performance parts would be nice is the price is right.
I was thinking about putting in http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...14&prmenbr=361 these, the 19 lb/hr. ones.

I agree with the Junkyard & CruzinPerformance.com idea.
I also agree that they should've given you a full set of the Bosch (aka "pintle") ones, or a full set of the Multec (aka "showerhead") ones.
As far as the injector tips; are you talking the Bosch "pintle" injectors, with the plastic tip caps? I was told that those caps are just to prevent dust/dirt from getting in, and it's okay to run without the caps. That's why you'll see a parts store selling Just the o-rings (Kit # SK-9 made by Standard for $12) but no pintle caps.
Rich (at CruzinPerformance) installs new pintle caps along with new o-rings if you have him clean your injectors.

I think what im going to do...
Is since i have a few mods to my car already, a nice intake allowing alot more air in the engine, is to replace all the injectors with brand new ones from accel, b/c these old ones are definately shot, and i can't keep the car off that long to get the ones cleaned (plus i want more fuel anyways) so I'm going to go with these, accel 17 lb/hr. for $173 @ summit, this way i shouldn't have to worry about anymore injector problems and get better performance. Stock is what 15 lb/hr? SO 17 shouldn't be too much for it to handle. I also already have a hypertech chip.

Actually I thought stock for 2.8 was 13 lb/hr, stock for 3.1 was 15 lb/hr. I'm running 15 lb 3.1 Multec injectors (shower head design) on my 2.8, passed NJ emissions (chassis dyno) no problems.

If thats the case then i'll get the 15 lb/hr., again from accel, good thing that was brought up. Just curious tom, where did you get them at and how much Should I expect in increase in throttle response?

Junkyard, $10 for the set. Didn't send 'em out to Rich b/c I thought my old ones were clogged, and I needed something to pass emissions with (I was a month overdue).
The car "overall" seemed to perk up.

Ok, Well hopefully the ones from Accel will be nice and I expect them to flow more than stock, definately. Will update when they come in and i put them in the car, with pics of my plenum because I painted it while its off the car, looks good, imo.
