pcv valve
i went to chage my pcv valve yesterday in my 3.1 but when i removed what appears to be a 90 degree grommit/elbow to take out the old valve i didn't see one in there does anyone have a picture of theirs or something, becuase that is a big problem with out that valve for my car i believe.

One way to conquer this problem is to go to parts store & see what they offer ya.
More secure way is to go to GM dealer & seek the illustrated parts diagram for your application.
IF your car had previous owners who knows what they could have "done".

it should be stuck in the 90* elbow or in the gromet in the valve cover. if its in neither, put one in there and stick them back together.

Go to Auto Zone for the EGR, EGR valve = $35, EGR gasket = $4, and the EGR solenoid = $80. That should replace all the EGR parts on the engine. Since you have a 3.1 and I have a 2.8 there might be some difference in parts or price but not by much.
