Washed now dont run
Agg.. been one of thoes days.. went to a car wash.. and the engine died.. had to have it towed home.. have spark but wont run.. worst thing is I went inside to get some tools and the brats from down the street ripper out the plugs wires and damaged the cap.. AAAGGG!!! got new cap.. and reliezed I dont know the firing order.. So I could use the firing order and any ideas why it died in the 1st place..

WTF? Are you serious some little ****s came by and damaged your ride? Call the cops? Go beat the **** out of them?
Anyway, the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6, usually #1 is pointing towards the #1 cylinder, but you may want to pull the #1 plug and get it to TDC to verify.

the kids have been a problem from day one.. there mother is a crack head and the PD do nothing about it.. but other wise thanks for the info

Just walk down the street, walk up the first one you come to and punch him in the face as hard as you can then go back to your house. I doubt anyone on the street will take their side if they're that much of a problem and what's the mom gonna do? Smoke more crack? You should get a haynes manual for your car, it's just really good to have for looking up things like that, or torque specs....

As far as the car died after washing, most likely you got some some vital sensors/wires wet, or got some water on/in the distributor. Check things out, dry out what's necessary.

I let it dry out over night.. its running again.. I thought water in the dizzy.. but its was nice and dry.. So now in on to checking all the connectors to see if the seals have gone bad..

Might wanna carry a can next time and spray things down ahead of time. Maybe even stick a small plastic bag over Dizzy befor washing.
[WD-40 = water dryer #40, invented for the military. Its not a cure all lube as advertised. But great for electroinc parts that get wet.]

probably already shorted stuff out in the face plate if it got wet and you've run it and things are messed up. Probably needs to be taken apart and repaired or something.

Sorry didn't mean to come off as a jerk...just wanted to correct the water-drying comment b/c it doesn't actually dry the water, it just displaces the molecules....if you want the chemical composition of wd-40 and the changes between 1 and 40 they are online as I found them for a report I did back in high school about it. Although it is quite boring.

1. There was no water in the dizzy.. 1st thing I did check..
2. Da.. yes I know what WD 40 is for..
3. I did have spark the whole time.. so Im thinking its something with fuel..
Intill I ether find a Fuel pressure sw or when I get my chiltons book here.. Or Unless someone here tells me.. Im going on the theoy thats a sensor/switch wea shorted my the water and not allowing fuel to flow..
So lets keep the the good info comeing.. Never hurts to hear ur thoughts..
