I found a vac leak behinde the plenum is an outlet wich has a hose running left and the there is a T spliter and a lil hose from it runs behind the dizzy, and around towards the right of engine ,. i will more tomorow but that small hose is dry rott broken., and while the car is on i can feel the tube sucking in., my girl says when i put my finger over it it has a small change in rpm!,,
What ide like to know is where does this hose go~ and could it be having ant affect on my hp or fuel milage?? this vac leak is forceing "ide say about a good 2 lbs of psi......

any vacuum leak will make affect your mileage and power. its taking in air that is not monitored by the MAF so it doesnt know that its there till the o2 sensor notices it and adjusts for it by adjusting fuel, or timing. just get some windshield washer hose and a lil adaptor, cut the rotted stuff off and splice in the new stuff and youre off.

where does it go?
Hose routings are on the sticker in the engine bay.
Sometimes the shop manual has them as well.
But absent those references, I "think" that one runs
around to the front to the cruise control module.
