Re: looking for some pushrods

Comp Cams High Energy pushrods are great rods in terms of strength for your money, definitely a major increase in in strength from OEM. The part number for your application is Comp Cams 7816-12.
Unless you are is running a radical hydraulic cam the High-Tech series is really over kill and a waste of money for your scenario.

Re: looking for some pushrods

I coulda sworn (years ago) that Crane made some; did you check with them? If it wasn't Crane, it was someone that sold roller rockers- it was available as a set (the rockers with pushrods) or each one was separate (rocker kit then a pushrod kit).

Re: looking for some pushrods

why does the kit say its not computer controlled compatible. im looking into the same setup and looking for some info. my bottom end is tight with 75k so im planning on doing the top end this year, like you, i want to leave the motor in the car. main reason is im getting a ticking from the heads now. are u running fi?

Re: looking for some pushrods

it says its not computer camapable but its is. also get the cam from delta. www.deltacams.com call them up you will save a lot. and its the exact same grind. but i did the cam and left the motor in the car and just rebuilt it and its only got a little over 50,000 on my car and its MPFI.

where in Ny, do you live?

Re: looking for some pushrods

Those parts should work fine as I have almost the same setup (except the cam isn't in yet). And like you guys didn't want to pull the bottom apart whe it did 17.1 when I got it (in stock form) with 88k miles.

Re: looking for some pushrods

I saw your other thread, but am unsure. If you call Summit, they should be able to tell you. They appear to be the correct studs, but measure the threads on your studs (actually I think you have bolts) to be sure.
