No, theres no manufacture logo or anything on them. They just have the number and made in mexico on them. Which i think chevy's are assembled there but not sure.

Re: New Heads

The Casting # is 10218170. I googled it and info came up on the chevy 3.4 v6. Can someone help find out if these will fit a 1992 camaro 3.1 ? Thanks!!!!

Re: New Heads

They will fit, but to practice porting they are a completely different design from the iron heads. You will need to use FWD pistons or you are going to have in the neighborhood of 12:1 compression.
I also have a pair of 170 castings that will be going on my next motor, you will also need to get a 3400 lower and upper manifold along with the fuel rail to use them.

I'll trade you a set of stock iron heads for those aluminums...

Re: New Heads

If the valves are rusted, tht's OK. I would hate to see you ruin a set of high flow aluminum heads just to practice porting . The heads I got are pretty rough (rusted, brocken studs, etc), but if you are just wanting to practice they will be perfect.

If you do a search for porting heads here on TGO, you will see someone doing something similar with heads just as bad. Even though the thread is for a V8, the suggestions and pics will be helpful.
