Blue connector ID please
1986 2.8L Next to the coolant sensor there is a blue connector with a wire clip around the lower section to help hold it on. The wires come out of a rubber strain relief. The wire colors are tan and pink, I think. Searched for an hour an could not find out what it is. I measure about 37 ohms on the sensor/sender what ever it is. Can someone ID it for me please? Thanks!

Should be the connector for the cold start injector sensor. Looks like an injector connector. Having the wire around it kinda gave it away. The only things on a 2.8 with those style connectors are the injectors, cold start injector(I think), and the cold start injector sensor.
The cold start injector sensor is right next to the ecm coolant temp sensor located under the throttle body.

Thanks! That makes sense. I am troubleshooting a startup issue (in another thread (Varnished gas?)) and when I unplugged this sensor it did not fire at all. I thought I was on to something but it was just my cold start injector no longer squirting...
Thanks to all for responding,
