looks good man. What was involved in getting them in there? 11" wide wheels are nice for grip but not nice for grip with a 10 bolt rear. I was gonna go with a 11" rear rims but decided not too since I stil use a stock 10 bolt and I want the tires to give a little in gear shifts or hard take offs. replacing a 275/40 tire is a lot cheaper then a 10 bolt exploding on you. been there and got the t shirt on that one already.

Those are as clean as both your vehicle and your work area(garage)from what I see in the pic. I even like the little carpet pieces! Nice, very nice.DUECE

Yep,
I had to roll the fender lips, also had to use a tourch and heat up
the inner fender well, where the tire was rubbing hard, and use
a big hammer and slowly massage it out of the way.
After I drive it a few miles on some bumpy roads, I'll remove
them and check for any rubbing.

The 17x11 ZR1's I got are supost to be 50mm off-set, which
I understand take a 2.0in adapter, well that didn't work.
Next I tryed some 1.5in adapters they were ok but the tire still
stuck out.
Next I tryed some 1.25in adapters and they gave me the look I was looking for, but I had to modify the inner fender well greatly.

do you have pix of the adapters yoru talking about? i've never delt with spacers so have no clue what they are, unless yoru talking about those lead based things that slip over and space it out by about a half inch? but then u'd run out of threading with a whopping 1.25" so I'm taking it its somethign totaly different, and this is on a stock camaro width rear end? looks good, if you fill me in i'd love to get the same set up, cant blame me for envying you

Thanks to all for the compliments.
Next week I'll pull the wheels to re-torque the adapters,
I'll take pics and measurements of everything and post them here.
Sorry for the delay, but I have a three year old and a 8 month
old that takes up a lot of my free time right now.
on the back spacing issue, like I said I'll take measurements
of my set-up, but be cautious I've seen this same wheel
advertised in three different off-sets (36mm, 50mm, 56mm)
mine where advertised as 50mm off-set but I question that.
The tires I ordered from NTB, they came very close to the price
from the tirerack.com.

you can see almost half of the tire sticking out from the back. just because the tops of the fenders are out that far doesn't mean the tires look good going there, but it's just my opinion. they look nice, just to far out for me. for 11" their in pretty far without actuall modifying the inner well. just my opinion that it would look that much better in their right location.

LBSZ28BLOWN okay I know where you got your spacers/adaptors but what sizes did you use?
2" spacers in the rear?
1.5" spacers for the front?
Even all around, or what? I need to know because I am going to be running 4th gen wheels soon.

ok, i'll ask for the nasty picture that no one with wide tires ever dares to post online.
post up what your inner fender looks like where you tapped it to fit.
i just want to see how far you had to go....

fuggin awesome, im goona get some 17x11s , i found out that i need a 6 inch bs to make them fit and then a rolled fender lip and then some hammering, but i think its worth the headache.
