Lets see some big dished wheels on some thirdgens...

I should have these (but on a thirdgen) mounted tomorrow.

Rear wheels are 19x9.5 with 35mm offset. If the backspacing was correct for the car it would have some serious dish.

Tires are Dunlop SP Sport 9000 285/30.

One thing...I had a set on my Jetta and after about a year the clear coat on the polished lip started to flake off. No apparent reason, I never used anything but soap and water to clean them. Just cheap rims (and heavy!) but good looking!

I'm pretty sure they are about 1 1/4". I actually got extremely lucky and was able to use the old spacers for my old rims. Worked perfectly, unlike anything else on that entire car!

Thanks!
Those specs can't be for your rear wheels. I'm 100% sure on that. Are they MINUS 35mm?

I had 9" rear with 0 offset, so they shoulda been deeper than those, but they weren't.

Re: Show me your dish

Because you posted that link, I assume you are saying that because those show +34, so are yours?

Well, yours aren't. Minus 34 maybe, but not Plus 34.

Corvette wheels are Plus offsets & they don't have dishes, so how can yours be Plus? I see the really thin hub, unlike the thick of of Corvette wheels, which gives you the dish.

Yours are Minus, not Plus.

I went through WAY too much trouble to understand backspacing & offset, to turn my 9" wheels into 11" wheels that would fit..

Dished yes. But I'd hardly call front crosslace wheels "deep". And the rears are even less deep.

Thanks I appreciate it, lets just say I have a loving wife . anyway dont have any more pics of the teal car at this time. Finishing up a 408 LSx motor for it and then just need to source the rest of the parts for that swap. Also gotta replace the door as it has a huge dent. Car has full susp and a mild 350TPI in it. The IROC well thats a diffrent story...

Re: Show me your dish

And the nicer thing is, I have 8 of those wheels and a collection of rim halves to alter widths & backspacing. I'm thinking about putting the other set on my 82 trans am (a little less wide than those 13" wide ones) and slapping on some Mickey Thompson Drag Radials, they are 16" wheels. Should look period correct and w/ gold centers on the black gold car.... I'm hoping I can pull it off.
