OER 17" GTA wheels

Has anyone ordered a set yet? On Summit estimated ship date now Sep 1st.

Only difference I see with the Hawks version is that the inside of the wheel isn't painted, unless newer ones from Hawks are like that too.

Re: OER 17" GTA wheels

I bought my wheels from Hawks years ago and the inside of the hoop was painted.
and FYI, they are all made in the same place and the same distributor, Hawks, Summit, Classic, it's the same wheel, different retailer.

When you get them make sure you open them all and make sure the color matches on all 4

Re: OER 17" GTA wheels

Yeah, for sure they all come from the same place. I did try buying them from Hawks but being in Canada it's a $166 between them and Summit. Summit does free shipping here anything over 299 USD so just duties to pay.

I'll definitely make sure sure they all match if I do it. I posted my 16" 87 style wheels for sale to see if any interest so I can shell out less $$$.

If manufactured in US/CAN/MEX should not have duties, just GST/QST

Re: OER 17" GTA wheels

Called Summit today and it's a special order with a 2 month wait. I originally thought they were just back ordered for 2 months. Has anybody placed an order for them from Summit or anywhere else?

Re: OER 17" GTA wheels

Old thread, but an update... The OER wheels are available now, from Classic Industries anyway... Spoiler alert, they say "Hawks" on the boxes. So they're the same wheels at a Classic Industries price instead of the Hawks price.

You always did have great taste Drew, she looks fantastic. But lower that damn nose now, those exposed wheel wells are hurting my freaking eyes lol. I'm kidding, it looks killer...

I would, but I have to contend with a steep driveway that usually rubs the air dam as is. Any lower and I'd have trouble getting it in and out.

17s are 21 lb 6 oz according to Hawks website. Original 16s are a bit under 17 lbs.

Sorry, I was referring to the 16-inch GTA wheels. I am well aware of the boat anchors that are the Formula wheels.
