Will these work?

Guys, anyone know if these will work on the rear in my car (87 vert) w/ stock 4th gen. rear & brakes, MB Old School 17X9.5 (6" BS) & 275/40/17 tire. I would like the tire to be inside the wheel well. Also would prefer not to have to do any mods (bfh adjustments) to the wheel tubs. Looking @ 17X8.5 w/ 245/45/17 (4.5 bs) for the front. Hate to order & have them not fit. any help would be appreciated, THANKS

Re: Will these work?

I doubt that that's enough backspacing for the 4th gen axle. Why not 275s on 9.5s up front? They will fit if you get the backspacing correct.

yeah, that rear wheels would fit pretty well on a 3rd gen width axle.

Re: Will these work?

What backspacing whould you guys think I should be looking for? This particular wheel, 6" is the deepest offered. Once I get the offset nailed down, I have to figure out what other style to go with. I'm trying to avoid using any spacers at all. THANKS Again for any imput. Jeff<jnman>
