installin SD

how do u install the speed density system on an 87 ta with a maf system, plus where can i get a sd setup and what does it look like, someone said somethin bout them bein in junk yards?

search...search...search the forums especially the TPI forum.

I am running my stock TPI with MAF and don't really see a need to change it. The car resonded well to all of the mods I have done without having any compatability problems. Others with SD have mentioned that the chip has to be modified in order to do the mods I have done with my car...and you will eventually want to continue to add more and more mods

cam...heads...exhaust...induction and some little things. I have my 305 running 13.9 on my g-tec, a little less time if I can stop spinning the tires.
I have a l98 block in my garage awaiting rebuild when the 305 goes south but for now I can run with some of the big boys with the 5.0.

I would keep the MAF untill you gain intimate knoledge of TPI and how to do your own prom tuning which is my next adventure. simply put if it aint broke don't fix it.
