OK, now i know everyone is hard on chips, but has anyone read the TPIS catalogs claims for their chips? you can find it at www.tpis.com theyve got a lot of stages, and ive got the mods they tell you to add...worth the money? i doubt it, but the numbers are damn good for the stage 3 chip and might be. Then the JET chips come in...lower claims, lower price...right now, i have headers, dynamax muffler, k&N, low-temp thermostat, shift kit, and throttle body air foil on my 86 305 TPI T/A. Thanks for your help!

 

I would recomend the Performance Resource chip. Its only $200 and took it .3 off my 1/4 times. Read the tech article on the differnt chips. In my opinion, if you are going to spend the fortune that the TPIS chips cost, then you might as well have one custom burned by Ed Wright at Fastchips.

I have the TPIs level V chip and I dont think its worth the $$$ now switching to Power programmer from Accel....
