High performance EFI intakes

Here's a great site to get a great replacement intake for that old TPI intake found on lots of our 3rd gens. You could even go all the way and convert from carb as well.

Well, I figured it was OK because there are others advertising websites starting up here. Nothing was done about it so it must be OK for free advertising in this forum.

thats awesome about being from kenmore. and i was just kidding about the advertising. i really like the intake, as from working on my car last night i decided that the emissions stuff has to go. origionally i was going to do the lt1 swap in my car, but i might just have you do the intake for me, as i cant get an stb for a stealth ram. i wanna build a street (maybe occasional strip) 383. i dont know how well i like the remote thermostat, but thats ok. i know they make gobs of torque and with 373 gears i shouldnt lose too much low end and get great top end with your piece right? thanks a lot for the info john. if youre ever back up in the area give me a holler, you can look at my rs to z28/ss project.
have a good one john

Dan

Not sure about the remote thermostat eh?

Well I can tell you one thing, IT SUCKS. I absolutuly hate all those extra hoses running around the engine bay. If you like your engine bay clean... figure out some way to mount it better.

I am thinking there may be a way to make some sort of bracket thats long, yet sturdy enough to house the thermostat behind the radiator, in front of the engine, that way it would shorten up those hoses quite a bit and make less of a mess.

Only dreaming right now, but I am actively searching for a solution to that messy problem

Sonar_un - Looks good...what's it run? - Also, where'd you come up w/ that "cold air intake". Looks OE, but I figured its home made knowing that pretty much nothing of the sort is available aftermarket. - Wha'd you use?

later, justin...

It ran 15.4 in the 1/4. I have some major tuning issues that need to be worked out. Some of them have already been worked out, but I know I still have alot more to go.

The CAI is home made, but not by me, but 86FyrBrd when he owned the car. I am not sure what, or how it was made.
