well after a lot of searching I finally found a small shiftlight
and not only is it small and look good,it has the RPM setting right in the shift light,no big fugly Tachs needed to have your shift light ! and they work great! wether its for street or track. this is the site if your interested

im not finding it on their site... how much was it anyway? cheaper then the proform one?

i guess its not up on there site you have to ask them about it,thats what I did, Proform is cheaper ! This one was like $80. or so,I was unsure about spending the $$ untill I actually tried it and its a nice item.And like the idea you gave me before about the cig. lighter hole...thats gonna work perfect.It will fit right in!~
I just mounted under the vents just so I could try it.
