sdpc vortec base

does any one know if if the vortec base manifold from sdpc will pass emissions?

Engine: 389 CID TPI

Transmission: TCI 700R4

Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.23

It is emissions legal. You do have to buy a kit to hook up the EGR valve.

SDPC doesn't show a CARB number so you should contact them.

The SDPC base is not emissions legal in Ca. That said, several ppl are using it and have successfully passed visual with it. Bottom line... you're taking a chance just like you'll be if you run Vortec's on your 3rd Gen.
