Catco!
I just wanted to let everyone know who needs a new catalytic converter to go for the CATCO brand. I got mine put on the other day and let me tell you, my car is alot louder and the idle is much more smooth. Granted my old converter was shot to ****, so there was noticable difference, but as soon as i started up my car there was a smile across my face. Anyway, the reason I say go CATCO direct-fit, is because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to get a freer flowing cat. I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to all.

Another thumbs up here. I put on a direct fit Catco from Summit when I did my full exhuast. Two things happened. One, I probably picked up a couple extra horse over the old and rusted cat. Two, I passed emissions cleaner than stock.

Yeah, its been a couple days since I had it put on and I've noticed better excelleration and better idle. A little old lady on my street thought I was going fast when I went passed her because the exhaust note is so much louder and she was all "Slow down jackass"... I just smiled and waved
( I was only gong 15mph) . Anyway, its great to hear that everyone likes this CAT too. Its good stuff.

Well, here's one vote against. I had to have the heat shield rewelded twice and then the catalyst brick inside broke up into pieces requiring a replacement, all within 2 years. I now have a Random Technologies cat with no problems after 3 years.

I got a 3" pipe from www.testpipe.com
They gave me a hard time at first because they said it was for "off road use only" but I convinced them to send it to me. Can't get any freer then that! I got that pipe and dynomax cat back and love the sound. I had flowmaster, hooker and they don't compare.

I put on a catco dual SS setup I bought from Jegs or Summit. Actually my local muffer shop put it on. They had to modify it a little even though it was a direct fit for a dual cat car. It cost me $100 for them to put it on, not too bad. Anyway, no problems so far, except there is a vibration and noise at a certain speed when decellerating. I think this is because they didn't reattach the center support from above. Its like the whole thing resonates for a secton and goes bllllllllllaeaaa.

well i liked the catco, atleast for emissions testing anyways. Helped my engine pass the visual and emissions tests. Day after the test I took it back off and punched it completely out. They aren't expensive and not very hard to take in and out unless you weld them in. I will just buy another as a spare to use for testing every other year.
