Motorvation underdrive pulleys
I dont know if this is the right forum but i will ask anyways. I just recieved a set of motorvation underdrive pulleys for christmas and went to put them on yesturday. The problem is the altenator pulley is so small i cant get a socket in there to get the nut on. Any suggestions on what i can do? Also is anyone running the same pulley plus a deleted smog pump that could tell me what belt size they used. Thanks for the help.

Your pulleys should tell you what size belt to run. If you are going to use the smog pump delete pulley you will use that same size. If you are not running a smog pump or the pulley, refer to the tech articles for the belt size to use when re-routing your belt and using underdrive pulleys.

A standard socket should fit. You may need to use am impact gun to loosen/tighten the nut off/on the alternator. The belt size for this setup withOUT the smog pump should be 935K6. Remember, the belt routing is different now without smog pump.
