Car: 92 RS
Engine: a slow one
Transmission: a crunchy one
Axle/Gears: a whiny one
I envy you greatly... Where did you find this at for that awesome price?

I would disassemble and double check the assembly/do it myself just because I got it so cheap...

Not to be mistrusting, but better safe than sorry. Plus it's great to know all about your motor down to the last bolt, and to KNOW everything has been torqued to specs and prelubed generously.

EXAMPLE: My father recently bought a 350 block to redo... Upon inspection I realized it was bored .060 over already (thats the LIMIT on SBC's).

He didn't want to spend on another block and already had most of the components and an entire rotating assembly (save timing set and cam) put in it.

I ripped it apart anyways, and found they had re-used the old cam bearings in it AFTER the block had been hot tanked and had ruined the bearings!

Saved him a whole bunch of money he would have spent 10,000 miles down the road on a new cam. (IF it would've even lasted that long!)
