Venom 400 performance modules
has anybody tried or heard anything about the venom 400 control modules. It says that they produce 25% more hp through the 1,000-5,000 rpm range. If im not mistaken thats around 55-60hp on a 350 tpi engine, and they run with aftermarket chips also.Would it be worth looking into if they are any good? I found this on summit racing. part number VNM-V45-131

My brother's old Maxima had one of those things in it when we bought it. All it does is splice into the TPS harness and make the ECM think you're at WOT all the time, and make the IAT read really cold. The only thing it really did for drivability and "performance" was make the car cruise at 4000 rpms all the time, and shift at 7000. Awesome way to spend $300.
If I were you, I'd go spend my money on something that's actually usefull.
