unless you're actually making over 400hp, stock 350 injectors(22lb) will work just fine - any size you do will require the constant in the chip being changed to compensate.
- I have run the 305 19's up to 375hp, but they did start to go lean past 5k, but since this motor only turns 5 max and is in a daily driver(rarely sees 5k), I let it slide for a while....a year and counting... - Unless you'er modded pretty decent, get an afpr(adjustable fuel pressure regulator) bump the psi a couple lbs and let her eat.

thanks......im getting new injectors any ways because i am getting a ses light and running a 34 code which seems to be lean and i get it usually in overdrive...... the light will not be on when i start up but after driving for a while it always comes on......it is a bother and scares me that i could be messing something up so in short i think i am goin to get the injectors to hopefully solve that but I would have no problem running the 22lb injectors or 24 with some kind of management system where i could run the 24s down to what i wanted for gas mileage and up when i wanted (what do you guys think) and where is the best place to get these injectors.

Injectors for 350

I recently purchased 20# Bosch injectors from TPiS, and I am really pleased with the performance, increase in mileage, and better starts, not to mention what I thought was a good price.
My 1991 Z28 L98 has mods ( Edelbrock TES, Edelbrock base, SLP siameased runners, ZZ3 cam, PCMforless tune, & other minor stuff,,,), and the Bosch injectors work great.

you can get a set of the Motorsport injectors from Summit Racing for $200.. That is what Ed Wright from Fast Chip recommends. The motorsport injectors are very versatile and reliable and have a better spray pattern than the stock GM ones.

i need some help too please

I got an 89 irocz from a kid it has the 350 in it he had injector leaks to he put in new 30 pound injectors? he sold the car cuz he is having problems with it. it has black smoke coming from it when u get on the gas and does not idle very good it has a small cam and a cat back 3inch exhast thats all. i was told when u change injectors u need to match the mass air flow sensor with it that will fix the idle then get the fuel pressure regulator ajustable of course then i can lean it out a little please help me out i dont want to spend tons of money should i just put in smaller injectors back in? my friend has some 19 pound ones for me for free? not sure what to do ~jeremy~

WhitePowerIroc - if the p.o. put 30 injectors in w/o changing the constant in the chip(via chip burning software/equipment, which it sounds like he/she didn't) then it's WAY to rich. The mass air is no different no matter what injectors, just the tune. - Switch back to the proper injectors, hell, to get by throw the 19's in, they'll be a lot closer than 30's.
- pricing, yes the SVO's seem to be the best, especially for the money. Do not buy Accels, to many people have had way too many issues with them. -

do a search, there's a couple brands reccomended on here for quality and pricing.....somewhere around $200....

I just installed Ford #24 injectors about three months ago.Got mine from Jegs for $194, the install was easier than I thaught. I reused my injector clips and bought some GM O-rings to swap out for the fords. they looked the same. the injectors looked alittle loose on the fuel rail. I've had no problems with them.

Kidcope: The best injector for the money and reliability are the Ford Motorsport injectors. You have a 350, so buy the 24# EV1 style injectors, you can get them from Summit Racing. I have been running the same set of FMS 24s for the last 10 years.

some #24 stock one's?
stock size is 22, not 24.
- The Ford Motorsports(FMS) injectors are the SVO's.
the 96 LT1 injectors will work, but they are larger(like 24's I believe...) They would run much better than 30's, but to be ideal the chip would still need changed. - That said, many people have run 24's with an adjustable fuel ps reg and been fine on a stock chip.

WhitePowerIroc: You either want the same 24#/hr FMS injectors That I mentioned above or the stock 24#/hr injectors that came with the car originally, these injectors may have been Bosch. The '96 350 was an LT1. They came stock with 24s. Also, do yourself a favor and when installing new injectors, install a good AFPR and buy a good fuel pressure gauge.
