Its amazing how much more gear noise gets translated into the car. Great throws (sorta notchy, but not objectionable), but be prepared for some additional drivetrain lash and rattle to make its way up the shift handle.
Overall, its worth the $200 IMO for the improved 2-3 shift alone!

Oh, without a doubt...between it and the MBA aluminum **** on top, I feel like I'm shifting a solid piece of billet
I guess I wasn't expecting the whine, though...but when you consider I normally drive the car with the top off and radio on (the whole way home from my uncle's shop was with the windows up in the rain with the radio off, listening to all the creaks my SFCs DIDN'T solve ), who cares?

Bottom line is ANY aftermarket shifter is going to tranfer more noise into the cab, it's is the design of stock shifters and the rubber bushings in them that cause them to be sloppy yet quiet.
Pro 5.0 is the best shifter on the market bar none. Very satisfied with the one I bought for my T5 and I am getting one for the T56.

Our ***** (stock) are 16MM bro.
I have a carbon fiber short cane B&M and it is super worn out and I love it.
I like the short leather wrapped too. Let us know what you get.
