Does this cam sound too big or just right?

Check out my mods, its on a SD 305 TPI

COMPETITION CAMS CAMSHAFT SPECIFICATION SHEET

PART # 08-304-8
GRIND NUMBER: CS 266H-R14
ENGINE:CHEVY SM BLK 305-350
GROSS VALVE LIFT .500 .510
.006 TAPPET LIFT 266 276
VALVE TIMING OPEN CLOSE
AT .050 INT 5-BTDC 35 ABDC
EXH 48 BBDC 8-ATDC
THESE SPECS ARE FOR CAM INSTALLED

That cam would be a very good cam for your set up. You might be supprised at whaat yo could get out of it.

I think this cam is a little too big for you. First of all, you need to make sure you get a cam that is compatable with your computer. The best thing to do is call Compcams and ask them for their recommendation. That cam may be okay for a 350 but I think you might have some drivability problems with a 305.
