world sportman II heads?
What do you all think about them? Pros and cons please. How do they perform compared to vortec heads?

If you have a choice between Vortecs or SM IIs, then go with Vortecs. Unless your budget is wide open, then get the SM IIs and port the crap out of them. But in stock form, both will make about the same power, but the SM IIs are heavier and more expensive.

Do you by any chance read: 'Chevy High Performance' magazine??? These heads are mentioned time and time again in healthy engine builds. Allegedly they are a mainstay solid platform to work from.
I'm having a 355 proffesionally built. I chose these heads as I wanted iron heads instead of aluminum. My builder looked them over and said he was quite impressed with the set up. Yes, he'll have to port the heck out of them and I'll end up with a 9.6 compression ratio. It's more important with the size of valves these have that you make sure you're getting the air flow in and out, especially if you plan on using the TPI system. Nitro
