Do i need this for a Hydraulic cam?
I found a nice hydraulic cam but then i found this, it says i need this for early non roller blocks, what does that mean???

p.s. oh, just out of curiousity, what do you guys think the best compression ration would be for a TPI350? (1991 if it makes any different) the current CR is 9.5:1, but i'm rebuilding the motor, and need to know if a high would b better, i don't plan on blowing it, completely n/a, though it might get nos in the near future

its used for the flat tappet cams. A good compression would be in the low 10's cr for a screaming small block unless you want a supercharger, than your going to want to go into the 8's

It's not for flat tappet cams, it's for putting retrofit roller cams into non roller blocks.

that is used for reto-fit roller application i use a roller cam button myself
