Jensen Head Unit
Hello i just got a 1989 Camaro RS. The kid before me put in a jensen vm8013 head unit. the only problem is that every time you shut the car off an back on it resets and you have to turn it on manually, it doesnt just come on like it should. I tried to see what was going on with it so i popped it out but its just a wirey mess under there. Im thinking about getting a service manual, haynes or chilton, any suggestions or input would help. Thanks.

Re: Jensen Head Unit
sounds like whoever had it before didnt wire the memory wire correctly...i think its the yellow...or red you should be able to google it and double check but you have to have power to the constant wire ( memory ) or the unit will reset itself all the time. Should be a pretty simple fix

Re: Jensen Head Unit
Does anyone make a plug-n-play harness for their unit? I have a hole to fill and don't want to screw up the factory wiring.
