Ground control suspension
Just got off the phone with the guys from ground control to order my weight jacks, I don't have a product review yet but I will post how it looks as soon as i get them, but the customer service was fantastic, very knowledgeable, I told him my plans for the car and he basically helped me decide on some spring rates to get. Im very pleased with the service so far hopefully the products just as good. I would deffinetly reccomend that if your unsure of anything give them a call and they will help you out

Re: Ground control suspension
i just got my set of weightjacks in the mail today, they look like they are very good quality parts, unfortunatly my original choice of 850 front and 200 rear spring rates were going to be on back order for 6 weeks, so i went with a 800 front and 150 rear instead. hopefully they will be installed on the car by this weekend and install pics/after install pics should be up by sunday night. heres a few of the weight jacks rite out of the box

Re: Ground control suspension
I have 800/180 on my daily driver. I have a set of 150s that I feel will be too soft & 200s that I feel will be to stiff & I love the 180s.

Re: Ground control suspension
well i got the fronts in and i have to say, the car looks and feels amazing. the ride is stiffer than stock, but not too stiff. also adjusting the ride height is VERY easy. id deffinetly give ground control 3 thumbs up.
but one thing i will recomend is when installing the fronts. DEFFINETLY have a impact gun because the bottom strut bolts are very tight. also when you do it while its apart i would go ahead and replace the struts, even if you replace them with OEM parts, it will make a differance. i just put the stock monroes. on because i had them. going to upgrade shortly. also replace the sway bar end links chances are the bushings are bad...or like mine the top bushing is just nonexistant from the previous owner
but all in all the install was pretty easy and straight forward. no spring compressor needed, but deffinetly have a impact gun at the ready.

Re: Ground control suspension
But you don't hafta take those 2 bottom strut bolts loose to do front springs. Just the top strut nut is all that is needed to be removed other than the rubber/braided brake line retaining bolt, to swap front springs.

Re: Ground control suspension
Old thread but I just put my rear weight jacks on and will do the fronts soon. Was wondering how the rears were holding up to the test of time. I was also concerned that it might be possible for them to come out of the perch if you hit a big enough bump in the road. Any feedback is appreciated. I did get to drive it for about 30 mins while breaking in my new gear and the right was great.
